Let’s get started!

Best Full Size Ping Pong Table for Garage

JOOLA Inside – Professional MDF Indoor Table

  • Size: 108 x 60 x 30 inches
  • Weight: 293 Pounds

If you’re after the best ping pong table for your garage, you’ll have it all with this professional setup from Joola.

What I like

The most important feature a garage ping pong table should have is its ability to fold up and be stored inconspicuously. The table folds in half and has lockable casters, so it won’t be rolling away from its nesting spot. As soon as you’re done playing, stow it away to make room for your vehicle.

The top is made out of 1 inch thick MDF, which is the same type of surface that professionals use. The table also has leg height adjusters so you can adjust it to your preferred height. Perfect for getting to your optimal height.

It comes pre-assembled, all that’s left for you to start playing ping pong is attach the legs and you’re good to go. The net is installed with a screw clamp, so you won’t be needing any special tools to fit the net. If you’re worried about it being unstable, the legs are crafted out of steel with leg levers to keep your table sturdy as heck.

If you’re wanting to practice, the table folds into playback mode. One side of the ping pong table can be turned vertical so you can practice all you like. This is great if your practice partner isn’t around and you still want to get some good shots in.

What I don’t like

Some customers complained about the customer service they received from Joola. It can be quite tricky to deliver a 300-pound ping pong table, but most other customers had no issue receiving it.

Some users also complained that the wheels had a piece of plastic on them that scratched their garage floor. This can be a big downside if your garage floor is treated with epoxy or polyurea.

Verdict

If you’re after the best ping pong table for your garage, it’s hard to go wrong with this choice. It’s not the highest-end product, but it’s still at one of the best price points for what you get for a full-sized table.

Pros
  • Professional table
  • Folds up for easy storage
  • 1 inch thick MDF table
Cons
  • Customer service can be a bit lacking

Also Great Ping Pong Table for Garage

STIGA Advantage Professional Table Tennis Tables

  • Size: 63 x 56 x 5 inches
  • Weight: 115 pounds

If you’re after a great mid-range ping pong table for your garage, the STIGA Advantage is a great second option.

What I like

I love that this table folds into two separate halves. If you have limited space in your garage, you can store each half in a different area in your garage. It also has a compact nesting position that can fit in tight spaces.

The legs have adjustable levelers so you won’t need to worry about your uneven garage floor making a crooked play surface. When you’re situated in the place you want to play, you can lock the wheels in place with the 8 premium casters.

The tabletop is made out of 5/8″ composite. It’s less thick than the Joola table that came in first, but it’s still going to be more than enough to mimic a professional setting. It’s also painted in a special way to create a consistent playing surface.

The safety latch mechanism will also keep you safe. When you’re playing, you don’t want the table to suddenly open up without warning. The safety mechanism will keep you playing all night long.

If you want to practice with yourself, you can fold one half and practice even when your friends aren’t around. It’s also a good time to practice some secret tricks so you can own your unsuspecting friend when they meet you for another round

What I don’t like

This table is less thick than the first option which can be a bummer. Some users also mentioned the table warped over time from humidity, which can be a downside as well if your garage isn’t insulated.

Verdict

You don’t need to spend top dollar to recreate the professional ping pong experience at home. STIGA gives you a great mid-range option so you can enjoy playing ping in your garage without breaking the bank.

Pros
  • Great mid-range ping pong table
  • Folds in half for self practice
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Can be prone to warping in humid climates

Best Mid Size Ping Pong Table for Garage

GoSports Mid-Size Table Tennis

  • Size: 6×3 feet
  • Weight: 36.42 pounds

Want to play ping pong but don’t want to break the bank? This mid-sized table is the perfect solution for that.

What I like

I love that this ping pong table comes with 2 paddles and 4 balls! This is a great all-in-one set for anyone who’s new to ping pong and wants an all-in-one option to play right away. You won’t need to spend a ton of money if you’re worried about losing interest within a few months.

You’ll be able to take this ping pong table outdoors as well. If you have a pool, you can take it out there and enjoy a game with a friend. When the weather takes a turn, you can take it back into your garage and play a round or two. It’s also portable if you have a truck.

You won’t have to worry about installation either, it comes pre-installed. All you need to do is fold it out and you’re ready to play. When you’re done, fold it back up and stow it away for another day. It’s a perfect fit for small garages.

The frame is made out of aluminum so it’ll last through years of play. If you have kids, it’s also a great introduction into the world of ping pong. Hard to go wrong with this choice!

What I don’t like

It’s not going to be the full ping pong experience, but that may not be what you’re after.

Verdict

If you want to play a round of ping pong inside and outside of your garage every now and again, this table is going to be perfect for that. Don’t expect a full-sized professional setup and your expectations will be met.

Pros
  • Indoor and outdoor
  • Great for small garages
  • Comes with paddles/balls
Cons
  • Not for pros
